I had a connecting flight in Tokyo and landed there after a typical (endurance challenge) 14 hour flight from Michigan. As I burst into a stall, I was greeted by a Toto brand washlet (a toilet seat with a built in bidet and remote with various functions). After I used it, I was surprised with just how clean I felt and also how easy and natural-feeling it was to use.
When I landed in Taipei, my final destination, I was shocked (and extremely excited) to see that a bidet similar to the one I used could be had for around $100! It was a no brainer.
